Legoland California Reveals Plans for the Opening of its Theme Park’s 10th Land”

by ranyeen

Legoland in Carlsbad, California, announced that it will be adding a brand-new zone to the theme park in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

With two new rides, interactive zones, and meet-and-greets, Dino Valley is set to debut in the spring. The two new rides are named Explorer River Quest and Duplo Little Dino Trail;

Legoland’s announcement of the rides is vague, but concept art for the river and Jeep-style rides suggests that they are more serene renditions of the “Jurassic Park” adrenaline rides at Universal Studios.

According to Legoland, the interactive area will have a “dino build and play area” and meet-and-greets with “new characters, adding a personal touch to your dino-filled journey.”

Lego Ninjago World, Imagination Zone, Land of Adventure, Castle Hill, Pirate Shores, Fun Town, Explorer Island, Miniland USA, and “The Lego Movie” World are the nine lands that make up Legoland at the moment. There is already one dinosaur-themed coaster on Explorer Island: Coastersaurus.

Legoland will start its “first-ever Lego World Parade in North America.” The parade will begin in 2024 with floats that draw inspiration from various sources, including Ninjago and Duplo.
